   As with anything else, technology changes the way we do things. Records became tapes which became CDs. Movie film became VHS which became digital tape.
    Almost everyone has a computer and cell phone. It's become a digital world. It only makes sense that professional photography join in.
    Advances have made digital photography equal if not superior to film. This is a decision you don't need to spend a lot of time on.

    Just like anything else, you get what you pay for. Be careful what you buy, and know what you're getting.
    A package that includes x amount of "proofs" is really no great deal, no matter how cheap it is. Proofs are direct from the camera prints. No enhancements, no color corrections, no fine tuning.
    A lot of production goes into the prints that you get in one of our albums, or individual enlargements. Make no mistake, drug store and even camera store prints can't begin to compare.

    This depends on the package, and what you want. Many people believe that packages contain stuff they don't want, therefore ala-carte must be a better choice.
    The trick is to compare what you want to what is being offered. Make sure you clearly understand the specifics.

Whether it's traditional film negatives, or a digital image CD, you need to keep a few things in mind. If you forego the album or the prints from your photographer to save money, you are making a very common mistake.
Having the negatives is OK for backup, but you will never get the quality on your own. Also, when the mortgages, car payments, and daily expenses are there, the last thing you will ever do is get your wedding photos printed. Chances are that 5 or more years down the line, you'll still just have a cd or package of negatives.

    We shoot the pictures. We do initial enhancements. We upload all images to a secure website. Everyone logs in, views photos, customizes them, and purchases as they wish, usually in about two weeks.
    Prior to printing, each photo is individually color corrected and balanced for skin tone optimization. Other enhancements include exposure correction, black and white point balancing, shadow retention, etc. What you wind up with are the most stunning prints you'll ever see.
